Pileeswin tablet is a poly herbal formulation consists of anti-inflammatory herbs, haritaki, shunthi, bel, pipplamool, rasanjan, tankan, alua and dhania. Haritaki, rasanjan, and ajavayan present in formulation results in anti-bacterial and wound healing activity. Haritaki, mochras and suran show potent hepatoprotective activity. Herbs like haritaki, nishoth, sanay and sauf in combination of tankan results in laxative action. Bol parpati acts as a potent hemostyptic formulation and arshakuthar ras is indicated for management of piles.
